The Landing Site is where Samus lands her ship on Tallon IV. The area is a huge clearing filled with plant life and fungi typical to the region, including Glowing Spidervines, Red Starbursts, Guide Stems, Tallon Ferns, Blastcaps, and Saturnines, and a small stream. The main area is relatively open with a few ledges and rocks. There is a small path that runs up along the side that leads to the Temple Hall. Beneath that path, there is a route to the Waterfall Cavern. An upper walkway that is not accessible from the ground goes from the Gully to the Alcove. The main path to and from this room is the Canyon Cavern, located in plain sight. A Missile Expansion can also be obtained with the Morph Ball in a small tunnel.
